LezSonjas Kennels is a family run business based on the outskirts of Salinas about a one hour drive from the coast.

'LezSonjas' Boarding Kennels was started in SAX by myself - Sonia - and my husband Lez after we moved to Spain from the UK in 2002. Gradually, as the kennels and the services we offered grew we realised that we needed to upgrade our facilities. Only a year after we opened our doors we decided to re-locate to a purpose built facility just outside Salinas.
The project had been two years of hard work for the whole family but it paid off and we opened our new kennels in September 2006.
The kennels are built to UK and USA standards and have been granted an envious list of licenses - a rarity on the Costa blanca.
The compound is equipped with wind turbines and solar panels to provide the kennels with an uninterrupted power supply.
The kennels can care for 20 individual dogs or dogs from the same family can share a larger kennel - up to a maximum of 4. There is a small dog and puppy parlour for dogs that feel intimidated in the larger kennels.
We have forged a close relationship with our local vet and offer a 24/7 call out in case of emergencies. The vet also holds clinics 1 day a week for vaccinations and checkups.
