Situated just 10 minutes from a selection of beaches with blue flag status, sandy coves and stunning coastline, Mazarrón Country Club is a private prestigious residential development. The Country Club boasts a large outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts, petanca courts and a restaurant/bar. The swimming pool is open to the public during the summer months for a small fee and has a poolside bar selling cold drinks and snacks and the restaurant nearby is available for a very reasonably priced lunch or dinner. Camposol Sensol Golf
Camposol which means countryside sun is the perfect name for this development as the area gets some of the best weather being located in the Murcia region of the Costa Calida. Mazarron
The Municipality of Mazarrón is famous for the mining richness of its land, later to thrive from agriculture and fishing.
Many settlers have contributed to the history of Mazarrón, evidence of which is found in pre-historic cave paintings, tracks left by the Phoenicians and Roman ships found on the sea bed of its famous port in the town of Puerto Mazarron. (read more)
Puerto de Mazarron
Mazarron is situated in the south of the Autonomous Community of Murcia, bordering Cartagena and Fuente Alamo to the east, Alhama and Totana to the north, Lorca to the west and the Mediterranean Sea to the south. It encompasses an area of 318.7 km2 and has a population which nowadays surpasses some twenty-nine thousand inhabitants. It’s 25 metres above sea level and 70 km from the capital of the Autonomous Community, Murcia.
Puerto Mazarron was basically the coastal settlement of the town of Mazarron which begun with a few storage sheds for their fishing equipment and boats. Pirate robberies of their belongings made the villagers take it in turns to spend the nights there, keeping watch. In no time whatsoever, Puerto Mazarron became an official settlement as more and more people of the village found it easier to live there. (read more)
Murcia City
When you drive northwards from Andalucia and Murcia comes into view, spreading across the plain towards the pine tree clad slopes of the Cresta del Gallo, it is obvious from its size alone that this is a city with much to offer.
The sharply pointed and aptly named hill of Monteagudo is visible in the distance towards Orihuela, and the old buildings of the city can be seen from the main road and invite you to take the road into the centre.
The river Segura divides the city and although in summer it is often just a trickle, the big trees beside it offer shade and entice you to walk along its banks, which are near to the old quarter. (read more)
